How the papers are made

GeneralGeneral

The papers were drafted by an AI system working under Chazut Foundation's direction. Each paper's method section says where its numbers come from. The structural quantities the platform computes for a paper come from code that gives the same result every time it is run. Where a paper sets them against another source, such as a recomputation made by a separate generative model, the paper names that source itself; where a generative model read the printed values of a study, the paper says so, and says how those readings were checked or recorded. Before a paper is placed on this site, it is checked by review steps separate from the one that drafted it.

The Colombian seismic building code. The papers apply and cite NSR-10 (Reglamento Colombiano de Construcción Sismorresistente), adopted by Decreto 926 de 2010, and quote it where they need its words.

Published studies and theses. The papers discuss studies and theses by other authors. Chazut Foundation claims no rights in those works; the rights stay with whoever holds them.

The structural solver. Where a paper says that its analysis used OpenSees, this is the credit: OpenSees is © 1999–2020 The Regents of the University of California. All Rights Reserved. It is not ours. Chazut Foundation did not write OpenSees, and this site does not distribute it.
